- A Customized Development Plan
Each new basketball player will complete a self assessment questionnaire that provides us with valuable insights unique to this individual player.
We will score and review each assessment.
This allows us to establish a baseline to where each individual is and what the current mental performance struggles may be and allow us to develop a specific plan to each client's needs and the goals they want to achieve.
- Weekly Coaching Calls
For the first month we will hold 4 individual 1:1 calls, one per week. As building habits and routines may take some time, we understand the importance in basketball to start seeing results right away, that is why our first two calls are focused on what we call our "Secret Weapon", so you can take this tool and improve your mental game and take it to the court right away! These calls usually last 45 minutes to an hour. This allows us to provide you with clarity, accountability and the support you need to perform at your best and truly get the foundation set. After the first month, players are grouped with other players and we hold "team meetings" weekly for the next month. Following the second month, teams then will meet for the following 2 months on a bi-weekly basis. All in all, although a bulk of the work is done in the first several days and weeks, we have found follow up and further implementation of our training and most importantly accountability over a 4 month period is the most successful platform to ensure success. After 4 months there is additional support and meeting available if desired, but our players are well prepared and fully equipped to be successful after our program.

"How does it work and what is the total length of the program?"
The program consists of weekly 1:1 calls for the first month with Coach Dave. Each session lasts about an hour and calls are conducted using Zoom/Online. Each session is recorded and made accessible to you giving you the ability to revisit the meeting at anytime in the future. After the first month, we then break out into small teams, no more than 5, in which we continue our program. The purpose of the team approach after the first month is to work together on accountability, discuss common struggles and work like a basketball team would work to achieve goals together. The total coaching program is a total of 4 months, which we refer to as 4 quarters. Although results are implemented much quicker and results begin immediately after the first coaching session, we have seen best results over this amount of time dedicated to follow up and implementation. Each quarter is unique in nature and creates a specialized process through basketball mental performance.
Of course additional support between sessions is always available as well.
After the program has ended after the 1:1 and group sessions, there will be an option to continue coaching at that point on a month by month basis for as long as you would like too.
Our goal is to set you up for consistent, long-term success which is made possible by the clarity, accountability and support that your coach provides.
"Will Coach Dave be my coach through the entire program?"
Yes. That is one thing Coach Dave is consistent with. You will not have multiple mental coaches throughout the process. It will be with Coach Dave from tip off to the final buzzer.
"How young is too young?"
Any age is great to start! Our youngest client has been 8 years old. Remember each client is completely customized to fit their needs, age level and where they are in the process.
"How does scheduling work? What if my schedule is sporadic?"
We use an app that allows us to schedule things with great flexibility. It is easy and efficient. Each player will have the ability to schedule their call times booking it right off the app and changes can be made as well. You also will have direct contact via email and text if needed.
"Is this 1:1 mental performance coaching customized to each player?"
Yes! Once registered , you will receive an email providing instructions to start the onboarding process.

After the questionnaire, you will schedule a call with Coach Dave for a brief introduction. This is a great opportunity to connect with Coach Dave and ask any questions you may have before your first coaching session.
"Does it matter if I start in season or should I wait till after my season?"
We all have busy schedules, but we will tell you right now that the best time to start working on the mental performance piece is right away! In season or off season, there is no better time, once you have discovered the benefits to get rolling right away. If fact, our clients say they immediately gain clarity and tools upon starting the training and the benefits are immediate.
"Do you offer a payment plan?"
Yes, each situation is different and we can arrange a payment plan for the services. Each is handled on an individual basis and please reach us through our contact page to discuss this option.

Due to the customized nature of this program, enrollment is limited to 30-40 athletes. Once we hit that cap, that’s it. You’ll have to wait until the next open enrollment (likely mid 2023). We decided to limit enrollment to provide our clients with the highest level of service possible and ensure your success with a program design specifically for you.
